questions regarding SBR

if one owns a rifle that has the tax stamp paid and is an sbr and one moves to a state that does not allow sbr's can the rifle be continually possesed if it has a full length upper on it? or must it be sold?

also can a sbr ever be converted back into a non sbr? say by selling it without a transfer tax and informing the batf that you no longer wish to have it listed as a sbr?
