    Assuming you purchased it new, I'd let the mfg. fix the problem.

    If you bought it used you should have a gunsmith take a look at it as they might be able to fix it w/o it costing you big $$$. Whenever possible it usually turns out better if a pro does the job.

    Hello Rock Island are made in Asia and are not of very good quality Get a GI hammer and sear and try them . or take some off of the side of the hammer but only off the top wear it rubs not where it PIVOTS on the hammer pin

    I'd contact Ivan at Armscor/Rock Island...located in Las Vegas (distributor)..he'll probably tell you to send it in and they'll fix it no charge...he's truly a class act...
