match grade threaded barrel

i have recently won an auction on ebay for a hard chrome finished full profile comp. for my Springfield Armory 1911 . . . am going for a race gun look without the ridiculousley light trigger, nothing seriouse

idoes anyone know were i may procure a match grade barrel that i will be able to use with this comp?

the threading on the comp .575" x 40 tpi and it needs a barrel that sticks out the front of the slide about 3/4.

any info on how or where i may go about this lil project of mine

    Try Brownells they have many different kinds of barrels and comps I think even dies to thread barrels. [quo"PRAISE THE HARDBALL GUN"te][/quote]

    thanks man . . .i have tried brownells and the only threaded 45 that they had was the exact barrel that i need.

    only one problem . . . they no longer carry it.
