Yard sale parker help
Bought a parker bros shotgun at a yard sale today. Twelve gauge 30 inch steel barrels. The stock has been repaired most badly. But the bores are beautifull and i cannot believe how tight the gun is. On the water table of the reciever thier is stamped the letter v and the serial no# 1116xx. On the rib of the gun is stamped Parker brothers makers meriden conn. vulcan steel. On the water table of the barrel are some proof marks and some patent dates, and a + mark on each side of the barrel. could some one tell me how the gun is choked and what grade this gun is? It has extractors. Has parker bros. on the side of the reciever also on the pistol grip cap. Has a neat butt plate a dimple with a hunting dog and sez parker bros. If it weren't for the repaired stock it would be a pretty fair gun. Could anyone tell me when it was made? Was it worth the 80.00 dollars i paid for it? Thankyou Beltfed
