Weatherby Mark V Outfitter Custom

Anyone know anything about this model? It comes from the Weatherby custom shop. I just purchased a used one in 300 Win Mag. Also, can you tell me which Leupold QR matte bases will mount up? Thanks, Charlie

  I belive the weatherby are the same mounts as Rem 700, I know the ones on my SVM are, I had to shim the front mount on mine.

  Sir, Nwcid is incorrect about the mounts. That used to be true, they were the same as 700 Remingtons. However, sometime after manufacture was moved to the US, they changed the reciever contours. The Leupold web site should show you the correct number for your rifle. If Leupold quit making those QR bases for the Weatherby, let me know, I think I have some in the shop.
