Sportered Japanese rifles usually have no collector value, except as parts. If the "mum" on the receiver is intact, that can add to the value somewhat but again as a part, not a unit. I recently could not get a buyer for a 7.7 sporter asking $50. I broke it down and sold as parts to three different parties for total of $120. Do a Google search for military firearms boards. There are a few that have specific columns that cater specifically to the Jap rifles. You can get more realistic info there.
