I HAVE A WINCHESTER MODEL 50 AUTO. SHOTGUN, 28IN. MODIFIED IN VERY GOOD SHAPE AND I WAS THINKING ABOUT SELLING IT AND I WAS WONDERING HOW MUCH IT WOULD APPRAISE FOR AND WHERE MIGHT BE THE BEST PLACE TO TRY TO SELL IT?

btw...welcome to the forum. to save yourself from making 100 posts, look at the top of your post and youll see a paper icon with pencil on it. thats the edit icon. that way only you can edit your message w/o having to repost if you make a mistake. hey...why not put your model 50 on gb and auction it with a minimum bid?

The model 50 is a great old shotgun. Of course, condition makes a big difference. Bluing, the condition of the wood, etc. You should look at other 50's in this auction site and others, and see what guys are asking. Also see if anybody is bidding on them. This auction is a better place to try to sell then at a shop or gunshow. you're more likely to find a buyer looking for a good old gun like that. Take lots of pictures and run an auction. I sold one here about a year ago for $225. Good luck.
