Sir, good luck on your search for a bolt for your 6mm. You may already know this, but the bolts for the 788 were made in two pieces. They used the front part with different lengths to accomadate the different cartridge lengths. Be certain that what you are getting is a bolt for a 6mm.
If the problem is a broken bolt handle, I have had these tig welded back in place and never had any problems. You must be careful and line the threads on the bolt stub up correctely with the threads in the bolt body. Remington used a process called furnace brazing to attach the handles to the bolt body. It was not one of their better ideas.

    Stan,

The slowest but least expensive way is to check the auction sites continuously. Put the word out on several of the other shooting forums then wait... and wait a little more. When I don't need one they are available but when I absolutely have to have one, they are nowhere to be found. Patience.

Now, if you really want one and feel like money has little meaning in this life, you can contact these people and they will make a brand new one for you and fit it to your rifle. If it is just the bolt handle that needs to be attached again, a good gunsmith that has tig experience can be a blessing. 25-06 points this out, also. Here's the link:

    Best of luck!
