Win. Model 70 -- What years were the bad years?

I know pre 64 is the "dream" rifle. But I had a more "modern" on made in the late 90's that had controled feed and was a dang good rifle.

What years are the Model 70 to avoid???

  The M70 was "upgraded" in 1964. It was re-upgraded in 1968. Then about 1990 the "Super-Grade" was reintroduced with the non-rotating extractor. Then about 1994 the Classic was introduced. The 1964-68 M70s were best used as either canoe paddles or anchors. The 1968 through present with rotating extractor are all the same to me, though I guess they're okay for those that like them. Any M70 with a non-rotating extractor, be it pre-64 or a newer one, is a rifle worth owning as far as I'm concerned.
