Freedom Arms Model 83 in .44 Mag

I see often enough alot of Freedom Arms Revolvers for sale at various internet sights in .454. My question is do these Revolvers show up alot in this caliber (.454) because thats what it is most often sold in. Or do a good number of these people purchase one, then decide its more revolver than they bargained for and get rid of it. I rarely see these revolvers show up in a practical barrel lenght of 6" in a .44 cal. I wonder is it because they don't sell well in this caliber or do the people that purchase one just hang on to them forever. Any comments on the above observations. Also does anyone have a FA in .44 and if so how do you like it.[?]
