I have a Belgium made A5 light weight made in 1968. If I wanted to get another Belgium barrel for it would it have to be off a light weight gun or will any barrel of that age fit? It is a 12 ga. Also can I put a 20 ga. barrel on it? What is the shortest barrel with poly choke they made? What is the barrel marking on a gun that is factory poly choke? *,**,***,****
Thanks for any and all help with these questions?

browning guns are coded. you have to have the codebook. look in the back of a bluebook of gun values or get matt eastmans browning code book. the letter M means your gun is a standard wt gun.

    Hello zack2746...

Bobski fed you some bum info[:(].

With a serial number prefix code of "1M", it was made in 1961 versus 1957.
