Weatherby Centurion Plug

I just bought a under used well taken care of Weatherby semi-automatic shotgun. I took out the tip of the plug, but I had to idea how to take out the plug, i was told that it can hold 5 shells, but obviously, there's only three now. Just a simple stupid question, let me know.
