400 corbon cases spliting
I installed a .400 corbon bbl in my Llama .45--bbl is unmarked of maker-had to polish the feed ramp. Very accurate when it goes bang.
Two questions:
1) a lot of the cases are spliting and the shoulder is further forward on the fired cases, i suspect the slide is opening too fast. How do i correct this, heavier pound spring?
2) the rounds want to tip downward into the mag well and hang up when the slide moves forward, esp. with Colt mags (no problems with .45 rounds0 how do i correct this, bend the feed lips or weld a hump on the follower?

Hi and welcome to the forum!
You could have a recoil spring problem, and if you do a heavier spring would be the way to go, but you may also have a chamber problem ... I would suggest that you get the barrel checked over unless you know how to make a chamber cast.
As for the mag. take one that you won't be using for 45 and try tweeking the lips before you start trying to tack weld on the follower.
Lastly, even if you rectify the 400 problem I wouldn't recommend firing a regular diet of those rounds in your Llama.
If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!0
