Stocks can be hard to find for all the nylon series rifles. I see nylon 66 stocks on ebay ocassional, might keep an eye there.

I have never had to fix a cracked one, so I can't offer any help there. Where is it cracked, and how bad is it. I seem to recall reading somewhere about using a special glue that worked ok. Hopefully someone that has tried to fix one will be able to provide more help.

I bought the stock for my 76 last year at http://www.westerngunparts.com/default.htm. It wasn't all that pricey as I recall and was readily available. We did fix one cracked stock on a 66 a couple weeks ago just with 2 part expoxy...worked well. The stock swap isn't all that hard, just take your time.

Men, like bullets, go farthest when they are smoothest.

I thought Remington warrantied them for life against cracking.....
