    Not yet, but I expect it too, and primers and powder next. During the last war, these items became scarce, so take heed and stock up while you can.

    maybe not the best thread to put this in, but in terms of military surplus ammo....

    i've been looking to purchase some federal xm193 55gr you all know it... i was looking at a website that sells it, and also noticed they sell winchester, which i have nothing against so i take a look at it. I've heard that milsurplus (federal xm193 for instance) is MUCH hotter than commercial loads. But looking at one of winchester's loads it was producing 3250fps (or something like that) with a 55gr bullet which is the same as xm193.

    now if you look at the box it says 5.56mm on it. its commercial ammo, which seems to produce the same ballistics as surplus (such as xm193) for about the same price, but is prolly much more available.
    Anything i am missing here? or is this the real deal?
