A T/C Contender w/ 22 cal. 14 inch match bbl. and Williams or TC saddle sight should work well for you. Not the Encore or the G2 as neither of them can be adjusted for trigger pull.

Other choices are Smith Model 17 with 8 3/8 inch barrel, Taurus Shilouette model or long barrel Tracker model, or Savage Striker.

Contender is going to run $500+/-, Smith $350+/-, Taurus $300+/- and Striker $250 +/-

TC Contender is a great choice because of the barrel changability. A Ruger Mark II with 10 inch barrel would also be a good choice. Goo Shooting!

    hivoltg,

While I agree with the other selections, my vote goes to the Anshutz Exemplar. It may be pricey but the quality is at the top and it is set up for Silhouette style shooting. Also makes a dandy varmint pistol!

    Best of luck!

dont laugh, but i use a REXIO single shot break open...

i had the shop owner work on the trigger, lightening it to 2lbs, and shortening up the overall travel. it now has a light, short, crisp, clean, consitant break.

i have an older WEAVER fixed power (8X?) long eye relief scope on it, using the factory supplied mount.

it does quite well at 100 yds on sillouettes...

i know that the scope and the gunsmithing work are easily more valuable than the gun, but it suits me well.

    what about the SAVAGE STRIKER???

    best regards, mike.

contact me at the shop at waltsgun@aol.com best regards, mike.
