I respectively disagree with the previous posters assessment. I believe that it's a standard Weaver Rail that is made to accept all Weaver Rings and accessories that are made to mount on Weaver style mounts.

The Military style Picatinny rails/mounts have a different configuration, with mutiple notches and sometimes holes to accept the various types of military hardware.

The mount is a Weaver-style with cross-bolt slots. It is also referred to as the Picatinny rail for the (I believe) US Army Arsenal where it's modification and use was first popularized.

I beleive either weaver style or picatinni will suffice for this mount. Any weaver cross slot ring will fit it. Look at Warne maxima series, or leupold PRW rings for that base. Basically any rings stating it is a weaver style will fit the base in the picture.

Picatinni is a spacing which was developed for military applications. There is an exact spacing between the slots which is necessary for it to be a "true" picatinni rail.

why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....
