Browning B-80s
Just got a B-80 made in 81. Barrel says 3" Mag. Dose any one know if it will run 2 3/4" rounds or will I have to convert? If I have to convert what might be some good places to get parts?
Thanks Guys
Oh,, remember to kill it once but shoot it twice.

As far as I know it's just a matter of changeing the barrels. 2 gas port holes on the 2 3/4" and 1 on the 3". Beretta 300-1-2-3 models will interchange most parts and barrels with the B-80. The Beretta stock washers can be use to set the angle of stock drop too.

no, you said browning in your title.[:D] 0 -
One of us might be confused. I'll make it simple, The B-80 and Beretta 300 series are the same gun, the parts will interchange. Thus if you can't locate a Browning barrel the Beretta barrel will work. Your gun has been discontinued since the late 80's, Browning no longer has parts, but Beretta does. Your 3"mag. bbl won't cycle 2 3/4" shells. If you buy a Browning or Beretta bbl in 2 3/4", you can install it on your gun to work with the shorter shells. www.e-gunparts.com and www.corsonsbarrels.com should have either manufacture's barrels to fit your gun.
