300 H&H
i have recently aquired a rifle. monte carlo style wooden stock with a very minute crack at base of receiver and bluing on barrell is approx. 60-70 percent. open sights, not drilled for scope. bolt action, r handed. only markings on barrell says " 300 H&H" and it also says "rechambered for 300 WM". then there are what appears to be tulips stamped on various parts and a lower case f with a crown above it. just wondering what it is and very rough guess on it's worth. i bought it at an estate sale for $160.

We need more info, a better description of the action or better yet pictures. From what you say it could be just about anything that has an action long enough to fit the H&H into. M70win, Mauser 98...... 0 -
on the left side of the bolt is a lever releaseing the bolt from the receiver, and a thumb safety to the right of the bolt. i'm working on pics. there are no other markings on the barrell at all. no ckeckering in the wood at all. 0 -
Not sure about the action type, sounds like it might be a custom rifle built on a military action that was rechambered to 300 Weatherby Magnum. Pictures would help. 0
