Question
[?]I have several guns that I need to sell because I no longer have the time or funds to take them to the range and I have to keep them so locked up at home that they are not really practical for home protection. With my third child due in November, I really need the money more than the guns at this point, but I am not willing to give them away. I have gotten some pricing info. from several different sources but it is so varried that I am still clueless! I figured that "Asking the Experts" was my best bet! The guns are listed below and ANY input that anyone could give would be greatly appreciated!
1.Winchester Model 1200 Police Stainless, 18" barrel and 7 shot magazine.
2.Ruger P89 9mm, 2 15-shot clips that came with the gun, and 1 15-shot clip purchased after-market
3.Ruger SP101, Stainless Steel 357 mag 5-shot
4.Ruger VAQUERO 44 mag 5 ? inch barrel
Thank you so much for your input and advice![:D]

Nine is all your going to get without going to and auto

No ,you can ask here ,that is what this forum is for ,but if they listed the blue book for free they would go out of business fast ,that would be like chiltons listing their car manuals {who would buy them then?}
A good tip to finding value is to look it up on the auction part of this site ,go into completed auctions ,and it will give you an ideal what the gun actually sells for

Actually I was only looking for that information to see if I could find a revolver with 10 shots. So you're saying you're not aware of any that exist? 0 -

I have to agree with Gone Postal, 9 shots is the largest capacity revolver that I'm familiar with.

Remember Ruby Ridge.
Experience is the best teacher and usually charges accordingly.

I think I remember seeing a S&W target revolver in .22lr that held 10 rounds somewhere. I think it was in G&A some time back. I could be mistaken.I'll go look through my back issues and see if I can find it. 0 -
9 Is the most I've run into

You could get two 6-shooters, like Roy Rogers, and load 5 in each.

The S&W 617 is available in both 6 shot and 10 shot models, and I think in both 4" and 6" full lug barrel lengths. It's basically the newer stainless steel version of the old K-22 Masterpiece. Mine is the 6" 10 shot model, and is a pretty good shooter. 0 -
