Need receipe for 6.5mm Jap Ammo

HAIRY
I've got the brass but can't find the "receipe" for loading the Jap 6.5mm ammo. Loadyourown.com doesn't mention it. Anyone have a favorite? Tanx.

    I just did a quick search of some of the reloading sites I know about and reloadersnest.com has data for the 6.5 Jap.Here's a link:

    I have another real good site that I've gone to in the past, but I can't think of the name, will post it later if my brain starts working.

    Hairy, where did you get your brass? New brass or reformed? I too am interested in reloading for Jap military.

    Cornflk1: It's new brass, purchased it loaded from an auction here.

    Since I'm just getting into reloading, I'm trying to decide which of the oddball and/or expensive calibers I need to consider. This was one of them. Others are .30 Luger and .30 Mauser (have a number of Lugers and Broomhandles).

    Graf's has new brass for $27.99 a 100. They have their own brand of brass for a lot of the old military rounds. I have bought 7.5 Swiss brass from them. It is a lot cheaper than Norma. Cartridges of the World book lists 140 gr with max load of 40 gr 4350 IMR, and 34 gr of H-380.

    This is my recipe I use for my 6.5 Jap rifle. I use X-Truded by Accurate XMR 4350 powder 35.8 gr. of powder with a 100 grain Hornady bullet .264 spire point. This combination works great. The max on the powder is 39.0 grain. Try this and see how it works for you. It shoots great in mine and doesn't seem to stretch the brass, which, I loaded three times.
