    Dean, You can call Ruger and see what they can do for you. Or you can pull it apart, clean, and adjust the spring yourself. Sometimes a ding on the feed lips will give problems too. Go here for instructions on clip disassembly. It's very detailed.

    I would check out Traps site. I have the same 6 mags I purchased with my 10/22 in 1964. They have never malfunctioned. I clean them every couple years and it takes very little time.

    It's too easy to unscrew the nut that holds the end of the magazine on; I use a hex key bit in my screwdriver. The only problem you might have is when the little coil spring end pops out of its' hole, and you just poke it back through.
    I clean my mags after each holiday, that way they work reliably in-between the holidays.
