What are the graduations from 50,100,200,400 and infinity out by the objective lense for?

Paralax adjustment. 0 -
parallax adjustments, which allows a shooter to quickly and easily focus the scope's image and eliminate parallax. the increments are yardage approximations.

The front objective is adjustable to eliminate paralax at various ranges. The numbers are only approxamte yardages, but the idea is that paralax will be eliminated at 200yd when the 200 is lined up with the index mark (in reality it won't be exact, use the numbers as a guide not a absolute distance).
Some guys like a mag full of lead, I still prefer one round to the head.0 -

FYI
Adjustable Objective (AO) will...only...work...correctly...if the Occular is correctly focused.
When looking at a target, your viewing also the cross hairs.
If, when putting the cross hair on the target, one is slightly out of focus, meaning if you 'look at' one or the other-seperately and it's sharp, but when superimposed one is fuzzy...and you readjust the AO, but arrive at the same sight picture....Occular isn't focused correctly.
