The tool you need is an allen wrench. Remove the 2 bolts on the front of the block where the barrel enters the receiver and the barrel comes right out.

Well Ford, I don't believe there's a tool out there to my knowledge, you'll just have to do some remodeling. What I did to easily take off a 10/22 barrel was, take about 10 standard allen wreches, hack sawed off all the 'elbows' on the end of it. Welded 9 of them together end to end, took one of the 'elbows' welded that to either end of you're now giagantic allen wrench, and take the last allen wrech, and weld it to you're 'elbow'. Now.. If you don't want to do that, just take you're time on the barrel, it's better to go slow, then fast and burger up a allen screw, cock the barrel side ways, and make you shoot worse then a drunk man from Mass.

It's not war untill someone breaks out the .50 calibers.

A Ball-Hex allen wrench will only set you back a couple of bucks.
Cut off the short right angle end. Chuck the remaining long end in a battery powered screwdriver or drill. After you break the allens screws loose with a conventional wrench, you'll be able to zip them out so fast, you won't believe it!
