Help finding a 45/70 Double Rifle?

European American Armory has a side by side double rifle on their website. Has anyone bought one,seen one,held one, shot one? Anyone know someone that has one? Anyone know if they're even available yet? Seems like a fun knock around gun, a lot cheaper than a Pedersoli.

I have been looking for these for six months and have been told by dealers that there not available.

A few years ago I got the double rifle bug pretty badly. I had a hard time with the $5,000 dollar (to start) pricetags. Just to get rid of the bug I bought a used Pedersoli Kodiak in 45-70 on this website a couple of years ago. If you keep looking you can get one for around $1300.00 used.

Trooper, my FFL dealer is on the waiting list to get the first one the distributor gets. I have a deposit on it for delivery as soon as it comes in. When it arrives, I will post comments here for those interested.
