Ruger #1 questions
I have a "spare" Ruger #1 chambered in 7mm Rem Mag and I am in desperate need [:D] of a new coyote/varmint rifle. My questions are as follows:
1. Can the Number 1 be rebarreled/chambered to a different caliber?
2. If it can be, is it cost effective?
3. Is there someone here at GB that works on Ruger #1's?
4. Will my money be better spent on "accurizing" my Mini 14 or buying a new varmint upper for my Ar-15?
5. Or should I scrap the whole "varmint" thing and set my sights on something bigger.....like a 375 H&H or larger? (For that once in a life time African hunt)
Any input would be helpful....Thanks -Michael

Get your self a new #1 in 204 and solve all you problems.

I've been reading posts about Ruger and what they are doing in the shooting industry and I'm not sure I want to buy another Ruger rifle. Although I've heard very good things about the 204, I'm just not sure at this point. 0 -
