S&W Scopes?

I was at my local gun dealer and he had a few S&W scopes somewhere in the conversation he told me that they were made by the same company that made Spring Field Arms optics. The model that i was looking at was a 6-18/42mm he wanted 250.00 for it. Good deal or just another example of i get what i pay for? What do you all think.

  Are they any good? I have a chance to get 2x6 pistol scope for 125 its in the box.

  For that kind of money I would go to www.bearbasin.com and look at Burris, Leupold and Nikon.

  If he meant "Springfield, Inc", their scopes have been made under contract to several different companies. They have varied substantially in quality, & there is no way to tell which scope was made by which contractor. Definitely a pig in a poke.
