Steyr SPP thread protector
Does anyone know how to remove the so called thread protector from the barrel of a Steyr SPP with out damage to firearm? Apparently it was screwed on with a little glue to make in legal for importation.
Thanks,
Chris

If it's epoxyed on, try puting it in the freezer for 24 hrs then using a small strap wrench with rosin on the surface of the "strap" that contacts the thread protector. Give the handle of the strap wrench a sharp rap, and hope for the best.
