Ward's western Field....
Buddy of mine showed me a pump shotgun the other day and I thought I'd try to find some info on it.
Ward's Western Field 20ga pump. model: 60-5b620-a
It's not in good condition and probably won't even shoot, so I know the value isn't much, but history of it and even what it might be worth would be interesting to know.

I'll take a stab and say it's a Savage model 620A,although I don't find it in any of my references.

Hi,
The 25th Ed. of Blue Book lists the Western Field SB620A as being the Stevens Model 620A.
Back in the J. Stevens Arms Company section, they list a Model 520 pump shotgun designed by J. Browning, slight humpback in receiver. Below it is the Model 620 (no A) as an improved version of the 520 with a streamlined receiver. Prices range from $100 at 60% to 160 at 80, and up to 275 at 100%. All the Stevens are listed as utilitarian shotguns with little collector interest.
Hope this helps.
Regards, Bob0
