    Hello "samadam165"[:)]

You did not mention which model it is, so I am going to assume that it is the LX501. They are "run-of-the-mill" Italian shotguns. Nice, everyday, "field-gun". Given any kind of reasonable care, his grandchildren will be using it.

The LX692G which comes with 20 and 28 gauge barrels is their top of the line product, and for the price is a fairly good bargan.

Best Regards To You And Yours[:)]

LX692GCS skeet/sporting. I'm really thinkin about buying one. They run about 1500. The quality of this gun was superb.

I have one in 28 gauge, but have had it less than two years, so no service issues. They are built across the road from Beretta, mostly by moonlighting Beretta craftsmen. The company is owned by the guy that owns Fiocchi ammo co. I am extremely fond of mine and it's purty!

Oh, and you should be able to talk that price down by at least $100.
