Key Gun

I was wondering if anyone has seen or heard of an 18 Cal. Key Gun. The one I saw Says Fernwood Gun Supply on the front. It is not assembled. Still in the factory package. Can anyone tell me if it would be legal to own such an item? It looks as if it was manufactured around 1976.

  Ok I appreciate the info. It just looks like an old style key, so I wasn't sure.

  I have one of these and have fired it a few times..its mostly a noisemaker (and not much noise) ..Sure beats the "credit Card " gun recently in the media spotlight
