Romanian M69 Trainer Scope Mounts?
I know this is a question that I have seen here before, but I cannot find it with the SEARCH above.
Where can I get scope mounts for the Romanian M69 .22 Trainer?
If you have a URL or if you have a suggestion based on your own experience with them (I have heard various things about the fit of some), I would really appreicate it.

Century used to have them. They are Kwik site rings.

Cobbled up mine from filed down Weaver .22 scope rings. Need to shorten up the underside of the rings so that the clamping flange can grip the more narrow grooves on the Romanian receiver. Took me about 20 minutes of try-fit on an old pair of spare rings to do the job.

Thanks. I recall seeing that someone had them for sale for about $11.00, but I'll be ****ed if I can find the URL now. Isn't that always the case?
I appreciate any help I can get on this. I got this for the kids and fell in love with it. I take it plinking ground squirrels every day I am out in the pastures. It has to be one of the best feeling .22s that I have felt. I didn't want to scope it, but the eyes are not what they use to be and the ground squirrels were looking smaller today behind the iron sights than I remember them being.
If any one else knows where I can get some, I appreciate the word.0 -
There's a few floating around on the net. My 1969 was drilled and tapped for a regular Weaver rail which makes things easier, but that's an expensive way to go.

I did like kdub and filed a set like he did. It helps if you clamp them in a vise, both side by side. That way there was a better probablity of getting them close to the same. I used some import aluminum ones I got at a gun show. I was told, like pointer, that the kwik site ring would fit. They are around so keep looking. Nice rifle for $50 or so, and you get the blessed experience of removing everybody's favorite...cosmoline. 0
