A local pawnshop has a Luger that may be coming out of pawn soon. It's a standard 9mm, 4 inch barrel. All numbers match, including the clip. What I was wondering about was, there are no markings on top. NO date, no makers mark. It doesn't look like it's been polished. Is this normal? Also, it does have a stamp on the grip, in front. If I remember right, it's L.Sch.#---. There is a three digit number that I can't remember. What does that indicate? It seems like a good gun, about 50-60% bluing, good bore. I don't know what the guy will ask for it yet though. What's it worth?

Pass on the tradition, teach a kid to shoot.

It might also indicate two dead Yanks before capture.
