Win. 100 feed problem

I recently got a winchester model 100. the shells feed properly from the clip if you do it manually. When firing the rifle, the new shell does not feed all the way into the barrel. the bolt ends up about half way up the brass and the shell is cocked. does anyone have any clues to fix this?

  Sounds like the magazine feed lips are a little out of whack. Might try opening them up JUST A TOUCH and see if that helps. If not, easy enough to put back to original.
