Anyone know the max length of cartridge you can load on this press?

  RCBS does not have a recommended "max". I have loaded everything up to 338 Win Mag on mine. The max travel of the stroke is 3.5". Depends how creative you want to be with the dies and working your fingers up into the frame. They say "from the largest Magnums down to .17 caliber". It develops enough leverage for most full length case forming. There are better presses, but this will do about anything you want.

  Thanks geeguy. Was just wanting to know if you can load rifle rounds with it. In the pics I've seen it looks like a pistol only press.

  I load 458 Win mag in mine. I use 550 grain bore ride bullets. I have "better" presses, I just like that one.
