Can anyone tell me if the Parker VHE ever came from the factory with a Redhead pad?

  Pad is aftermarket. While it's possible that some makers would install a pad on a custom order, it's not likely. Only in the case where you could document the provenance would such an addition not hurt the value of the gun.
