I have a couple of guns that I need some information on. Date of manufacture and approx. values.
1. Remington model-11, sn1509476 with two barrels. Imp/ cyl.and full in pretty good shape but showing it's age.
2. S&W model 19-5 6" snABK4612 nickel finish, with taget sights, trigger, hammer, and stock. It is good shape.
Thanks for your help.

Can't help on the S&W.
Remington uses a "Date Code"(not serial no..).Look on the left side of the barrel, just in front of the reciever. You should find a 2 or 3 digit code(look closely, there pretty small.)With that,I/we can give you the DOM.Since you have two barrels, you will have two codes.
BTW,Welcome to GB!

M-11 is both simple and complicated... Prices are usually based on the worth of a Browning A-5 in similar condition. Since A-5 values are quite regional there's no set value that I can give.
Suffice to say that the M-11 will be between a third and a half less in value than the A-5 in similar condition as a general rule of thumb. When condition lessens to the point of being just a well worn shooter, then a $50.00 spread might not be unreasonable.

I've always followed my father's advice: he told me, first to always keep my word and, second, to never insult anybody unintentionally. If I insult you, you can be damn sure I intend to. And, third, he told me not to go around looking for trouble.

I've seen em go for 450 with a single barrel, and I've seen 3-barrel matched combos only bring 300. It depends on where you're at and when.

Thanks for the link. Great information.
I'll start looking up the marks.
