stainless barrel for AR15?
Is 350 bucks for a new DPMS upper (without a bolt), with a stainless free floated barrel a good deal?
My friend was telling me stainless was overrated, but I'm not sure if he knows what he's talking about. If you guys could help me out that would be awesone.

What kind of barrel, ie match or standard? Size? Fluted? Brand new?
Stainless vs parkerize/blued all depends on personal preference.0 -
If you check out Bushmasters websight, they discuss all the barrel variations, pros and cons. They say that the chrome lined barrel lasts longest, produces less friction and therefore greater velocity. Fluting also ads rigidity and strength as well as heat dissipation advantages.
