Rem. 600 left hand ??

GB #23831647 is an auction for what appears to be a left-hand model of the Remington 600. I did not know such a thing existed. How rare is the south-paw version? Anyone know how many were made in this configuration?

    Take a close look at the photo of the receiver and bolt on this auction. You will notice that the ejection port is on the right side and the bolt handle has BEEN REPLACED with some forged piece of garbage and moved to the left side. The extraction cam has been re-ground into the rear ring. This is an absolute abomination of cobbling by an inept moron, on what was a fine little rifle. The idiot that did this ought to be handcuffed for the rest of his life for committing such a crime. This is nothing more than cobbling at its worst. No wonder the seller states that it is unsafe in the current condition. Technically and ethically, it shouldn't even be for sale to the public.

    That's not a 600 bolt handle for sure.
    Also,I don't see a notch in the stock on the right side for the bolt handle.

    Thank you gentlemen for confirming what I suspected. Only one of it's kind, truly a rare piece of JUNK.

    The thing that puzzles me is the rear of the action. The ear opposite the bolt handle (just in front of the safety) is reversed from the norm, also the factory holes for receiver sight are missing.
    If this really is a "Bubba custom" someone went to a lot of trouble to mess up a fine little gun when any lefthand action could be cut down to carbine specs much easier.

    I'M NOT ABOUT TO PAST JUDGEMENT OF THIS BUT ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO THERE WAS A 'SMITH IN THE MINNIAPOLIS AREA THAT DID L.H. CONVERSIONS OF REM. ACTIONS. A BACKWARDS FRIEND (LEFT HAND)OF MINE HAD THIS DONE TO ONE FOR USE AS A NRA HIGH POWER RIFLE AND IT WORKED WELL
