Silencer on CZ 75

Dear sir:
I own a CZ-75 (9mm.) and would like to place a silencer on it.
Since I know that I need to change the original barrel for a threaded one and the original recoil spring for a lighter one. What would you recommend me for this changes (including a dry silencer)?, please help me with the selection (brands, type, etc.)
Aditionally, since the ammunition market in Venezuela does not offer the wide variety that is common in the U.S. please indicate me if Winchester, CCI or FEDERAL manufactures subsonic 9mm.

    I don't recommend a suppressor for a 9mm automatic.

    First, they are far from "silencers"; these guns still make a lot of noise, even with subsonic ammunition.

    Secondly, the suppressor will cover the factory sights, & you can only point the gun in the direction of your target. In order to hit anything beyond close range, you will need to install an optical sight taller than the suppressor.

    Thirdly, finding the right combination of ammunition & recoil spring length will take a lot of trial & error (plus several recoil springs, as you will probably need to shorten them). If you don't get the perfect combination, the gun will not auto-load reliably.

    Finally, all US-made suppressors are expensive, & I don't which, if any, of the manufacturers export them.

    All (3) of the above manufactureres offer loadings with 147 grain bullets in their respective lines. With this bullet weight the 9mm is generally subsonic because of pressure considerations. Only Federal labels (1) of their loadings "Subsonic" though, it's their "147 Grain Hi-Shok Jacketed Hollow Point".

    Knight's Armament located in Vero Beach, Fl offers some pretty well set up suppressed semiauto handguns. Their pistols are outfitted with a manual slide lock to keep things as quiet as possible, meaning you have to cycle the slide by hand for each shot. The can is attached to the barrel by use of a neat quick-detach spring catch and has sights mounted along it's upper edge.

    They're neat toys, but expensive.

    Thanks, for the advice Neal.
    Would it be wise, if I use a .22 lr instead. Some of my friends are selling their 22 pistols, and could obtain either a Ruger 22/45 or a Walther. The last one has the advantage of having a threaded barrel factory installed. But as for silencers, what would be your advice. An d as for the open sights haw can I solve the problem, installing a laser device might serve?or using a C-more type?

    I think the best setup for a suppressed .22 that I have seen is the Ruger automatic with an integrated suppressor (it & the barrel are a single unit). It just looks like a fat bull barrel, & has new sights installed. Sorry, can't recall the company that does this conversion.

    You didn't say what type of shooting you had in mind, so it's difficult to recommend a caliber or type of optical sights.
