Gunbroker Seller's HELP NEEDED! Loading Photo's!
I need some help! I've been buying and selling for awhile here and want to get into selling allot more. I have MAJOR problems loading photo's to my listings. I can NEVER load more than one photo at a time. When I do list a photo it usually "Times Out", doesn't load the photo and I have to try again! It takes about five minutes to load one picture when it does take them. I load them from the "Browse" your computer section, not the URL section. I never have any problems on "ebay" loading, there I can load five or six at a time! The message from Gunbroker says something about changing settings that I don't understand. My computer is old. It's a Toshiba with a 16Gig hard-drive, 128 megabites of ram, a 450 megabite processor. I use a Hewlitt Packard photosmart 320 camera with 2.1 MP and 4X digital zoom. O.K.,that's about all I know? I'm no computer wizard and don't know what to do other than buy a new computer and camera which I can't afford for awhile! How can I load pictures without so much trouble? Any help will be much appreciated. I have some listings up now I can't get the pictures on and some I have gotten pictures on and have more guns I want to list but I'm not listing them because they get no action (bids) without pictures. HELP - PLEASE!

Open each picture with your choice of photo editing software and resize the pic to something around or lower than 800x600 pixels. Then "save as" rename the file and at the end of the file name type .jpg to save the file as a jpeg file which are considerably smaller but almost same quality.
BTW try using an FTP server probably will help with your time outs, such as WS FTP Pro. With the ftp server you will have to insert tags like this to host an image in the message(don't put a space between the bracket and the word image though)

try lowering your camera settings to the lowest quality not the highest like you would use for ebay...
