Are black powder pistols registered through the feds.....if not what do you do to get them,just buy them or what????

i have a black powder pistol with 3 barrells.it is aprox 9 inches long and each barrell isremovable to shoot either 1 ,2 or 3 at a timeit has a pat. num. in small numbers and theletters cmc. would like to know how old it is and what it would be worth. 0 -

Is it a flintlock? Percussion? Single shot? Revolver? Give us as complete a description as you can....including all writing on the pistol. And, if possible, post some pictures of it....left side, right side, and closeups of any unusual features.0 -
It could possibly be a Pedersolli. But without more info. it's hard to be sure. 0
