"HS" model Liberty 11
I got this gund from my uncle. On the grip is has "HS" inside a circle. On the but plate it says "Liberty 11" and the serial number and says "Germany" on the barrel. It is a revolver, .22 caliber. I have searched on the internet, but have been unsuccessful in finding out how old this gun is. I suspect it is a Haenel Shmeisser, but couldn't find out anything else. If anyone has any ideas on how to find more info on it please let me know. Thanks.

Your revolver was made in the post W W II era ( 1955 -1970? ), by the H. Schmidt Company, in what was then West Germany.
Most of the handguns made by Schmidt were inexpensive, of mediocre quality. The passage of the Gun control act of 1968, cut off their importation.
