Ruger Magazines for ?P? seriers ? Interchangable?

Should a Ruger factory magazine purchased for a P85 also fit in a P95? Some magazine sellers advertise their mags for the "P" series guns without identifying specific models, others say their magazines fit specific models, such as the P85 and P89. Are the factory magazines specific to a P model only, or could they be used interchangably?

  Generally all the P-series magazines (in their respective calibers) are interchangeable, but I do believe that there is an exception with some of the early production magazines for the P-85 -- I believe there was a slight change in the latch point on the magazine body.

  I have a p85 and a p95DC and they interchange,I dont know about all of them but mine work fine,
