The crossover list in the BB identifies your shotgun as being made by Stevens/Savage, Model 620 A. If this is correct? your shotgun is quite elderly as this particular model hasn't been made for at least 50 years.

does it hold any value? 0 -
Hey rufe- be careful what 50 year olds you're calling "quite elderly" 0 -

When I was in business, where I was in business, you couldn't give away 16 gauge shotguns, less it was a Browning. Your going to have to find something else to fund your retirement with.

Thanks for the info. I was was going though a closet and found the shotgun. I plan to use it. I was just curious about the value. 0 -
The value of older guns comes from collector interest. There is little or no interest in department store guns, thus they are sold as shooters. Probably would be hard to get $100 out of your gun, but it will be worth far more than that to you. Ignore Rufe-Snow,[}:)] he does not know that 16 gauge shotguns are making a come back. Great guns actually, even if elderly (like me). 0 -
I'll tell you this- I've just taken an intrest into hunting small game. But I would rather shoot a 16 ga. easier for me to practice
