Well thats nice to here two opinions...

Um, what about any other brands that are good?

Mec-Gar doesn't make a P90 magazine, so I am out of luck there, but I will keep them in mind for the future. [;)]

ProMag opinion #3...very trouble prone and should be avoided. One of members made an interesting point about ProMag and USA magazines a few weeks back: Since these magazine tend to cause random malfuctions (not every time the gun is fired but quite often) you should practice with these magazines in order to prepare yourself to handle and clear stoppages. CDNN of Abilne Texas (800)588-9500 lists Ruger factory SS 10 round magazines for the .45 P90 @24.55 and although that is twice the cost of the ProMag knock-off...the factory magazine is three times (at least) better!

    Thanks.

I had a lot of practice on clearing jams with my Glock19 that I sold to get this one. [:D]

I checked out the CDNN website but they only had the SS 8 round factory mags for $24.99. I will call them tommarow and see if they have them. They just might not be listed on their website yet.

Like with many of the magazines out there, I have not found anything that works as well as the factory mags for the Ruger .45acp pistols. The simple solution is pay $25-30 for a factory one that works or pay $12.50-15.00 each for two that don't work. Either way you have spent the same amount, but with the factory mag option, you at least have a single magazine that will work every time.

Its like have 2 cars in your driveway that don't run, or one more expensive one in your garage that starts, runs, and gets you from point "A" to point "B" every time. You can impress your neighbors with the ones in the driveway, but if you can't trust them to get you across country on a road trip, what's the point.

I HAD 4 Pro mags for my Glock. I got such a good deal I couldnt pass it up......I should have. They were complet CRAP. I saw someone post about USA. I HAD 10 USA AR15 mags they worked ok but.....I had 2 break the welds on the back. They also dented really easy making them not fit in the rifle.
