10/22 factory target conversion
Does any body have advice on taking a standard model and converting to the factory silhouette target model. The price conversion is about $250.00 not counting shipping. That also includes sending the receiver to Ruger to have the light pull trigger installed. Any advice would and as always be appreciated.

For that price I'd either go with aftermarket stuff or sell the one you have and buy the target model.
I have had several 10/22's from wild to mild and the factory target model isn't bad but I don't see that they are cutting you any deals on the parts. So, unless the gun has specific meaning to you I'd do one of the suggestions above (or keep it and buy the target model if you have the funds).0 -

For $250 you can get a new (original) Fajen silhouette stock, and a new .920 match chambered ss compensated barrel and a trigger tune up kit ... all you need to do is assemble the pieces.
If your interested in a source for this stuff use the email icon above this reply and drop me a note.
If you only have time to do two things so-so, or one thing well ... do the one thing!0
