Any of you own a Kel-Tec Sub 2000 9mm?
If you do please tell me what you think about it and if you would buy one again. I've found one for sale, but would like a little information and advice before I buy it. Thanks!

I bought one a year or two ago. Never regreted it. Any company that is clever enough to get around the folding stock ban by folding the barrel gets some money from me. Please remember that I enjoy the unusual. That was the big attraction to me. If you were to ask "What is the best 9mm rifle", well this wouldn't be on the top of my list. It just depends on what you expect from the sub and what else you have to compliment it.

I don't own one but have fired them & sold them at the shop. Good guns, for a little more money I'd take a Beretta or Vector UZI carbine over the Keltec.
I'm a little biased towards the Vector UZI since I have one.

I happy to hear that the sub2000 is a good gun. I can get this one that looks almost new for $200. How does that compare to what you've seen used ones bring. I have heard that I can buy a new one for about $300, but I've never seen a new one for sale. Yhis is only the second one that I've ever seen locally. 0 -

I had one and sold it after a few hundred rounds , i had no problems but it was showing some wear around the ejection port , i just had a problem with all that plastic, it fed and ejected anything I put in it but for some reason i just couldn't get past it being a plastic gun so to speak [:I] 0 -
I've got one that has shot everything I've put in it, including Silver Bear steel case ammo. Accuracy is ok, not great. I've been thinking about trading it though. Like gskyhawk said, too much plastic. It is a little short for me too.

I bought it yesterday and am planning to drive to the mountains this afternoon to the farm and give it a try. It fits in the same catagory as my Thunder Five .410 revolver, "a novelty gun", interesting to own and show, and hopefully lots of fun to shoot. This one fits nicely in my briefcase and will be great to take when I travel, but so do my handguns. It's just that so many states have funny laws about handguns, and a folding rifle is much safer to carry from a legal standpoint. Fewer restrictions. Thanks for the replies. I've been interested in one of these, too. Cool thing about 'em is, you can get 'em to accept different types of mags, depending on model. I have like 15 Beretta mags, so that'd be the one I'd get. But they make 'em to take S&W, Glock, or Hi-Power mags.

I shot mine 200 rounds today with Winchester 115 gr FMJ ammo. No problems at all, no jams or misfires. Accuracy was good, I destroyed the 3" 10 ring at 40 yards, and could hit 2 liter water filled drink bottles almost every time at 80 yards with a rest. This gun is really fun to shoot. All I need now are some Glock high capacity magazines. 0
