    Savage Anschutz

I have a Mark 10, which is an earlier model. These are Anschutz 64 actions, they were imported by Savage. They are stocked as position guns, and with a little tweaking here and there are pretty nice guns. I picked up the one I have for 175 bucks, and the metal was 99% the wood had a ding or two, but had hardly been shot. The gun should have aperature sights, of what make I dont know, as the ones on mine are not marked, but do function quite well. I've only recently been shooting mine some, but really starting to like the open sights. With federal 711b I recently shot some 50 yard targets in the .300 plus range, also likes Eley Club. Its not gonna be in the league of a full blown, high dollar bench gun, but can , with some work, bedding, trigger tweaking, be a fun competitive little gun. Especially for the money.

Thanks for the link to the 68 catalog. I was able to find information on a Savage/Anschutz M-141 I recently bought.
