how much can i expect
hey guys and gals,,,
i'v been looking for a .243 cal. rifle for my
little,,,,and i mean little girl,,,well i found the
rifle,,,,ruger .243 compact.however,i'd like to
trade in a handgun which i bought a couple years
ago and use very rarely.it's a TAURUS model m-440,
6 1/2 barrel,b-square mounts,swift scope model#663S,
stainless and in perfect condition.how much money
can i expect from my dealer towards the ruger.

First off go to you other post and delete it ... it's just taking up space!
Second, there is no Model 440, leastways in any reference stuff I have (or the Taurus site) ... so maybe you ment 441 which is a 44 special and comes in a 6 inch barrel. Or maybe you ment something else.
Anyway don't figure on all that much from your dealer. Using the M-441 as an example, at 98% grading book is $250 and w/ scope and mounts let's kick that number up to $300. So you can expect $200 to $250, but I expect closer to the $200 unless you are a very good customer.
Hope this helps some ... otherwise come back w/ the correct model number.
